Level A1 – Absolute Beginner

Duration: 5–8 weeks

Goal: Understand and use everyday expressions and very basic phrases.

  • Introduce yourself and others, ask and answer simple questions
  • Talk about where you live, people you know, and things you have
  • Understand slow, clearly articulated speech

Ideal for: Students planning for Germany and complete beginners.

Level A2 – Elementary

Duration: 5–8 weeks

Goal: Handle simple, routine situations requiring a basic information exchange.

  • Understand sentences related to work, shopping, local geography
  • Communicate in simple and routine tasks
  • Write short, simple notes and messages

Ideal for: Learners preparing for German A2 exams and daily life in Germany.

Level B1 – Intermediate

Duration: 5–8 weeks

Goal: Communicate independently in familiar situations.

  • Understand main points of clear standard speech
  • Deal with most situations while travelling in German-speaking areas
  • Write simple connected text on familiar topics

Exam focus: Goethe-Zertifikat B1 modules & TestDaF basics.

Level B2 – Upper Intermediate

Duration: 5–8 weeks

Goal: Understand complex texts and interact with native speakers more fluently.

  • Understand main ideas of complex technical and academic texts
  • Participate in discussions giving opinions and arguments
  • Write detailed texts and reports

Exam focus: Goethe-Zertifikat B2, university preparation.

Level C1 – Advanced

Duration: 5–8 weeks

Goal: Use German effectively and flexibly in academic and professional contexts.

  • Understand long, demanding texts and implied meanings
  • Express ideas fluently and spontaneously
  • Write clear, well-structured academic and professional texts

Exam focus: C1 Hochschule, TestDaF high score bands.

Level C2 – Proficiency

Duration: 5–8 weeks

Goal: Near-native command of German in all situations.

  • Understand virtually everything heard or read
  • Summarize information from different spoken and written sources
  • Express yourself precisely and naturally in complex situations

Ideal for: Academic careers, research, and high-level professional roles.
